 Welcome to Boise Chapter 1 of the Idaho Women Veterans Organization Inc.
Have you ever served in the Military? If you have, then you most likely have some Veteran's (VA) benefits you can claim. Our website is being built to aid you in applying for those benefits. We are going to show what benefits are available, who to contact and what forms you will need when you meet with them. We will also keep you updated on news that pertains to women veterans.
If you have anything you would like to see on this website please e-mail me (click here) so I can add it. If it is something you are requesting, there more than likely is someone else out there that could benefit from your experiences. Also, we would like to hear your story. When were you in the military, what branch, what did you do afterward, did you win any awards, do you have a military picture of you? Do you belong to any organizations?
Would you be interested in applying for membership in the Idaho Women Veterans Organization, Boise Chapter 1? If you are interested, please fill out the membership form and bring that form and a copy of your DD214 with you to the monthly meeting at the Golden Corral and ask for Fran Eno. She is our Membership Chairman.

We would love to have you attend our next meeting on March 28th, 2012 at 11:30 a.m. at the Golden Coral in Boise on Emerald Street, just before you get to Benjamin, on your right. We will be in the big conference room on your left. Ask for Linda Hawley or Anne Shafer and we would be proud to introduce you.
Our Organization meets the last Wednesday of every month except for during the months of November (Thanksgiving), December (Christmas) and one month during the summer when we have a summer picnic. We meet at the Golden Coral, 8460 W Emerald Street in Boise Idaho at 11:30 a.m. Social time starts at 11:30 a.m. and the meeting starts at Noon and lasts for approximately an hour.
